Warehouse Handler - Day Porter / Janitor

Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Day Porter / Janitor to help keep our Renton warehouse running smoothly and looking its best. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in keeping the facility presentable and functional—supporting daily warehouse operations through cleaning, recycling management, and general warehouse support tasks.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Respond quickly to spills, messes, and urgent cleaning needs
- Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized, stocked, and properly stored
- Manage recycling materials including wood pallets, cardboard, and plastic
- Support general warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided when applicable)
To be successful, you should have:
- 1+ year of janitorial or warehouse experience (required)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team
- Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided) — must be willing and able to operate safely
- Full-time (8 hours per day)
- Monday–Friday
- Some flexibility may be required for special events or cleaning emergencies
- $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience
