Regional Sales Representative – Portland / Southwest Washington
Fikes is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Regional Sales Representative to support business growth throughout the Portland metro area and Southwest Washington.
This is an outside sales role focused on:
- Developing new business opportunities
- Growing long-term customer relationships
- Expanding market presence within the territory
- Partnering with route sales representatives to support growth
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a competitive mindset, and enjoys building long-term relationships that drive customer success, company growth, and team success.
Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial business opportunities throughout the territory
- Prospect and generate new business through field activity, networking, and relationship development
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to generate outbound opportunities and increase qualified appointments
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct in-person customer meetings and sales calls
- Partner with route sales representatives on customer visits and growth opportunities
- Manage appointments, follow-up, and territory activity
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and service
- Maintain organized CRM and sales activity records
- B2B outside sales or business development experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Prospecting and territory development experience preferred
- CRM experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel throughout Oregon and Washington, including occasional overnight travel
- Competitive base salary plus commission with first-year earning potential between $90,000–$120,000+ for experienced, high-performing candidates
